Our first stitch was made with the aim to avoid another Daddy’s Little Princess or Future Chocoholic bib. Did the design world simply overlook bibs? Why? We decided to take matters into our own hands and wave goodbye to Cookies are My Favorite Food Group bibs for good.

An old work shirt was screaming to be reused for something, and the classic navy blue pinstripes seemed to be the perfect fit. After getting the basics together it was unbelievably obvious that we needed a pocket, some buttons, and a monogram. There it was, a minature business shirt bib! A bib for taking care of business. Enter Brendan and he says, “Taking care of business, more like Taking Care of Bibness.” Thank you sir, we’ll take that one with us.

The business bib will always be the original, but we soon found some beautiful/unique/fun/modern/awesome fabric to make more bibs. And to top off each bib, we use a button from Grandma Dorothy’s personal collection. We tried velcro and snaps, but you can’t beat the button. Even the strongest little munchkin can’t pull one of these off, and it adds an extra touch that make our bibs stand out.
